System Security
The System Security Team tackles with the complex world of cybersecurity applied at the system level, i.e. one of the lowest levels in the stack of IT. Our research spans from Malware Research field and goes up to the world of mobile devices, going through desktop OSes like Windows and Linux. We apply a rigorous methodology starting from studying the current state of the art (both in the academic and in the underground community) and applying the derived knowledge to develop cutting edge tools that make it easier for us to undercover vulnerabilities and flaws both in the implementation and in the design of the solution that we are taking under analysis. One of our main objectives is trying to fill the gap between the practical industrial products and the academical approach and research.
